Brand identity for mental healthcare company Cerebral.

Cerebral participated in a brand health study to understand awareness and consideration for Cerebral within the mental health market. They scored very high on clinician quality, but much lower on brand trust. After doing a significant amount of work to improve their offering over the past few years, it was time to reinvent their image.

The opportunity

Partnering with the product team to understand their in app needs, we crafted a new narrative and a fresh new look for 2025. We embraced boldness. Humanity. And a touch of playful energy, to show how beautiful moments in life might look with the right care and support.

The brand identity

The new identity starts with a new logo, an archway welcoming you into your new era of care. Each person has a unique set of needs and perspectives, but there is always light ahead.

The color palette is grounded in lavender - paying respect to the legacy palette, warmed by vibrant citrus and approachable neutrals.

The visual language is open, friendly and approachable. Brutalist shapes and illustrations offset lifestyle photography to embody warmth and hope.
